Booze Cruise

Jim : Hey.

Dwight : Hello. Jim!

Jim : What's up buddy?

Dwight : This is not funny. Why is my stuff in here?

Jim : Wow, that's weird. (거참 이상하네) Ooh, dollar for a stapler, that's pretty good.

Dwight : Yeah, well, I'm not paying for my own stuff, okay? I know you did this 'cause you're friends with the vending machine guy.

Jim : Who, Steve?

Dwight : Yeah, Steve.

Pam : What do I want? (뭐가 좋을까) What do I want? It's a pencil cup.

Dwight : Oh, no, no, no, no. That's my pencil cup.

Pam : Um, I don't think so, I just bought it.

Dwight : Uh, I think so, and you're going to hand it over to me.

Pam : I love these.

Dwight : Okay, fine. My wallet?

Jim : Um, oh, there it is. J1.

Dwight : I don't have any...

Jim : Here you know what, you can have some nickels.

Dwight : 5, 10. 15, 20, 25...

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Hello everyone.

Dwight : Morning Michael.

Phylis : Where are we going this afternoon?

---------------------------------------

Pam : Last week, Michael sent out this mysterious memo.

Jim : "It's time for our first quarter camaraderie event." (이제 우리의 첫 동지애를 느낄 시점입니다) "So pack a swimsuit, a toothbrush." "and a ski mask."

Pam : A ski mask and a swimsuit?

Jim : So that he can have us rob a bank, and then escape through the sewers.

Pam : And brush our teeth.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Yeah?

Stanley : Michael...

Micheal : Stanley...bo banley.

Stanley : I need to know-

Micheal : Banana fana fo fanley.

Stanley : What we're doing.

Micheal : Me mi mo manley.

Stanley : You said bring a toothbrush.

Micheal : Stanley.

Stanley : Is this an overnight?

Micheal : Maybe. The suspense is just so exciting, isn't it?

Stanley : Should my wife tell her boss she's not coming in tomorrow?

Micheal : Maybe, I don't know.

Stanley : Not maybe, yes or no.

Micheal : Well, no, but... okay, don't spoil it for everybody. All right ? But, we... are going on a booze cruise on Lake Wallenpaupack.

Stanley : In January? (1

Micheal  : It's cheaper.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : This is not just another party. (이건 그냥 놀러가는게 아닙니다) This is a leadership training exercise. Right? I'm going to combine elements of fun and motivation and education into a single, mind-blowing experience.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : It is now time to unveil the destination of this year's retreat. (휴양지) We are going on a harbor cruise of Lake Wallenpaupack. It's a booze cruise!

Meredith : All right!

Ryan : I have a test for business school tomorrow night. Is it okay if I skip the cruise and study for that?

Micheal : No, this is mandatory. But don't worry, you know what? You're going to learn plenty. (인생공부를 하게 될거거든) This is going to turn your life around, Ryan.

Ryan : I'm already in business school.

Kelly : Wait, Michael.

Micheal : Yeah?

Kelly : Why did you tell us to bring a bathing suit?

Micheal : To throw you off the scent.

Kelly : Yeah, but I bought a bathing suit.

Micheal : Well, just keep the tags on and you can return it.

Kelly : I took the tags off already.

Micheal : Well, that's not my fault, okay? Just-we're not going to pay for a bathing suit. Okay. I know what you're all thinking. (좋아, 자네들 생각 잘 알겠어) Who is this smart little cookie? Her name is Brenda.. something, and she is from corporate. And she is here, like you, to learn from what I have to say.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : I am a great motivational speaker. I attended a Tony Robbins event by the airport last year, and... It wasn't the actual course. You have to pay for the actual course. 돈을 내야 공식강의를 들을 수 있더군요) But, it talked about the actual course. (그런데 그 강연이 화술에 관한 내용이었었죠) And I've incorporated a lot of his ideas into my own course.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Leader...ship. The word ship is hidden inside the word leadership. As its derivation. So, if this office is in fact a ship, as it's leader... I am the captain. But...We're all in the same boat. Teamwork.

---------------------------------------

Oscar : Last year, Michael's theme was "bowl over the competition." (공을 향한 경쟁) So, guess where we went?

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Now, on this ship that is the office, what is the sales department? Anyone?

Darryl : How about, the sales department is the sails?

Micheal : Yes, Darryl, the sales department makes sales. Good. Let me just explain. I see the sales department as the furnace.

Phylis : A furnace?

Jim : Yeesh, how old is this ship?

Pam : How about the anchor? What does the furnace do?

Micheal : All right, let's not get hung up on the furnace. (좋아, 화덕에 관해 그만 언급하지) This just.. It's the sales. I see the sales department are down there, (판매를 저 밑에서 하고 있지) they're in the engine room and they are shoveling coal into the furnace, right? I mean who saw the movie "Titanic"? They were very important in the movie "Titanic". (삽질하는 사람들의 역할은 타이타닉에서 매우 중요한 역할이었지) Who saw it? Show of hands?

Jim : Not really sure what movie you're talking about. (그 영화가 지금 말씀하시는거랑 무슨 관련이 있는건지 모르겠네요) You sure you got the title right?

Micheal : "Titanic"?

Pam : I think you're thinking of "The Hunt for Red October".

Micheal : No, I'm.. Leo DiCaprio, come on !

---------------------------------------

Jim : Michael stands in the front of the boat and says he's king of the world within the first hour, (이 세상의 왕이 되었다고 잠깐 외치며) or I give you my next paycheck.

Phylis : Michael, everyone in the engine room drowned.

Micheal : No, thank you, spoiler alert. You saw the movie, those of you who did. (영화를 봤으면 자네들의 역할이 뭔지 대충 알거 아냐) They're happy down there in the furnace room. And they're dirty and grimy and sweaty. (그리고 더럽고 때묻고 땀범벅이지) And they're singing their ethnic songs. (민요) And... Actually, (현실적으로는) that might be warehouse.

Darryl : What?

Micheal : The, no, no. No I didn't... okay, well, the... Okay, in a nutshell what I'm saying is leadership. (리더쉽에 대해 간결하게 설명하지) We'll get, we'll talk more about that on the boat. Ship.

Dwight : Aye, aye, Captain.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : A three hour tour. A three hour tour. Pam, you are Mary Ann. We have... The Professor and Ginger. (우리는 빨간머리의 교수님이 있지) Welcome aboard. Angela, you are Mrs. Howell. Lovey. Uh, the native. (원주민) Sometimes they come from neighboring... (가끔 그들은 가까이에서 찾아오기도 하지) Oh, uh, we have, uh... one of the Globetrotters. (세계적으로 부지런한 사람도 있군) I am the Skipper, (난 캡틴이야) and Dwight, you will be Gilligan.

Dwight : Cool.

Jack : Actually, I'm the Skipper. But you can be Gilligan.

Micheal : Oh, I'd rather die. (죽는 게 낫지) Hi, I am Michael Scott. I am the Captain of this party.

Jack : I'm Captain Jack. I'm Captain of the ship. I'm also captain of anyone who sets foot on this ship. (누구든지 이 배에 타면 제가 그 분의 캡틴이 되는거죠) Hi, welcome aboard.

Micheal : Okay.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : In an office, when you are ranking people, (당신이 상위계급이라면) manager is higher than captain. Oh a boat, who knows? It's nebul-ose.

---------------------------------------

Micheal  : Hey look. I'm king of the world!

---------------------------------------

Jack : Okay, all right. Welcome aboard. I am your captain, Captain Jack.

Micheal : And I am Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin, Michael Scott. Welcome, welcome.

Jack : Okay, so, um...

Micheal : Okay, so.

Jack : Please. The, uh, life preservers. (응급 구조대원들이) They are located underneath the seats all along the perimeter of the boat.

Micheal : But don't worry, you are not going to be needing life preservers tonight. Well, we might just be, okay?

Jack : Please let me finish, okay? Thank you. So, the Coast Guard requires that I tell you where the safety exits are. Now, on this ship, it's very easy. (이 배는 자유롭습니다) Anywhere over the sides. (어느 곳이든 안전하지요) Not only am I your ship's captain, I am also your party captain! Woo, we're going to get it going here in just a few minutes..

Micheal : And I'm your party captain too! And you are going to put on your dancing shoes later on.

Jack : Hey, Mike, Mike.

Micheal : So we are gonna...

Jack : Uh, if you don't mind.

Micheal : Rock it!

Jack : What? Please, okay?

Micheal : If the boat's a-rocking, don't come knocking.

Jack : Michael.

Micheal  : Yup.

Jack : Uh, your company employees are not the only people on the boat tonight, okay?

Micheal : We're all going to have a good time tonight.

Jack : Why don't you let me and my crew do our job? You just sit back and have a good time?

Micheal : Okay, yup.

Jack : All right?

---------------------------------------

? : You guys, it's like we're in high school and we're at the cool table. Right?

? : Yeah. Pam, were you a cheerleader?

Roy : No, she was total little Miss Artsy Fartsy in high school. (아뇨, Pam은 진짜 찌질이 중의 지질이였어요) She wore the turtleneck and everything.

? : That's hilarious.

Jim : It's not hilarious, but...

Roy : Where'd you go to school ?

? : Bishop O'Hara.

Roy : Piss slop who cares-a? We played you. You, you really look familiar. Did you, uh, you cheered for them, didn't you? / J : Mmm, no.

? : Yes, I did. A-W-E... S-O-M-E, awesome, awesome is what we are we're the football superstars. A-W-E

Roy : I remember that!

? : S-O-M-E

Roy : We crushed you like 42 to 10.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Having fun?

Branda : Yeah. Everybody's really nice.

Micheal : Good, well, that is what Scranton is all about. Not like you "New Yawkers."

Branda : When are you going to start the, uh, presentation?

Micheal : Well, I already sort of started it back at the office. (어느정도 사무실에서 혼자 준비를 해놓았습니다) And on the dock with the Gilligan thing. (선착장에서 길리안 어쩌구저쩌구를 할 생각입니다) So, right now, I was thinking. Okay! Listen up, all you, Dunder Mifflinites. I would like to talk to you all about life preservers. Now, one important life preserver in business is IT Support.

Jack : Not now, Mike, we're doing the limbo! Ha, ha, that's right, partiers. It's time to limbo, limbo, limbo!

Micheal : So, okay.

Jack : All right ! I need a volunteer to come up here and hold my stick. Huh, who's it going to be?

Meredith : Me.

Jack : Okay.

Dwight : Me, me, me. Me, me, me.

Jack : Usually it's a woman.

Dwight : I'm stronger.

Jack : Hey, I got an idea.

Dwight : How would you like to steer the ship, Dwight?

---------------------------------------

Jack : Keep us on a steady course. (계속 전진하시면 됩니다) Keep a sharp eye out, (한눈 팔지마시고) I'm counting on you.

---------------------------------------

Dwight : I was the youngest pilot in Pan Am history. ( Pan Am 항공사 역사상 가장 어린 파일럿이었죠) When I was four, the pilot let me ride in the cockpit, and fly the plane with him. (절 조종석에 앉힌 뒤 조종하게 했었어요 그리고 날았어요) And I was four and I was great! And I would have landed it, (그리고 제가 계속 조종을 했는데) but my dad wanted us to go back to our seats.

---------------------------------------

Jack : All right, all right. That was great, now it's time for the dance contest!

Micheal : Why don't we do that after I do my presentation and..

Jack : Nope! Dance contest!

Micheal : All right, we'll have a motivational dance contest. Hit it! Yeah, okay. Dancing. It is a primal art form used in ancient times (고대로 돌아가 원시인이 되어봅시다) to express yourself with the body. And communicate.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Sometimes you have to take a break from being the kind of boss (지점장이 된 이후로 가끔 휴식시간을 가져요 상사라는 고정관념으로부터요) that's always trying to teach people things. Sometimes you just have to be the boss of dancing.

---------------------------------------

Dwight : What do you do with a drunken sailor (술취한 선원과 뭐하고 있느냐) What do you do with a drunken sailor. What do you do with a drunken sailor. Ear-ly in the morn-ing

Angela : Hey, come inside and talk to me.

Dwight : I can't. Do you want us to run aground woman?

---------------------------------------

? : Snorkel shot, snorkel shot! Snorkel shot, snorkel shot! Snorkel shot!

Roy : Who's next? Come on, Pammy, come on, come on!

Pam : I'm not doing that.

Roy : Come on!

Darryl : Tequila! That's what I'm talking about.

Pam : Hey, why don't we find like, a quieter place to hang out?

Roy : You know what, I've just gotta wait for Darryl to do his shot. (좀있으면 Darryl이 멋지게 샷할텐데) Just a minute. Come on, Darryl, Darryl!

---------------------------------------

Pam : It's getting kind of rowdy down there.

Jim : Yeah. "Darryl, Darryl, Darryl."

Pam : Sometimes, I just don't get Roy.

Jim : Well.

Pam : I mean, I don't know. So. (그건 그렇고) What's it like dating a cheerleader? I'm cold.

---------------------------------------

Jack : So, what's this presentation all about?

Micheal : Ah, see, this is of general interest. (보셨다시피 전반적인 흥미위주였고요) It is about.. priorities. (지금 대화는 우선사항에 관한거죠) And making decisions, using the boat as an analogy. (배를 예로 들어 선택을 하게 하는거죠) What is important to you? If the boat is sinking, what do you save?

Jack : Women and children.

Micheal : No, no. Salesmen and profit centers.

Jack : That's a stupid analogy.

Micheal : O-kay, well obviously you don't know anything about leadership.

Jack : Well, I was the captain of a PC-1 Cyclone Coastal Patrol Boat during Desert Storm.

Dwight : Wow, you should be the motivational speaker. (,

Micheal : Him? O-kay.

Dwight : Yeah, he gives me real responsibility, Michael. (책임감이 대단한걸요) Captain Jack delegates. (캡틴 Jack이 저에게 맡겼었어요) He's let me steer the ship for the last hour.

---------------------------------------

---------------------------------------

? : I'd like to be engaged. (저도 약혼하고 싶어져요) How did you manage to pull that off?

Pam : Uh, I've been engaged for three years, and there's no end in sight. (그냥 그 상태로 쭉 있기만 했죠) So, you don't want to ask my advice.

---------------------------------------

Jack : Suppose your office building's on fire. Jim, who would you save?

Jim : Let's see.. the customer. Cause the customer is king.

Micheal : Not what I was looking for, but a good thought. (Jim

Jack : He's just sucking up.

Roy : When you were in the Navy, did you, um, ever almost die?

Jack : Oh yeah, oh yeah. And I wasn't thinking about some customer. (저는 조금도 고객들을 생각하지 않았었어요) I was thinking about my first wife. The day I got back on shore, I married her.

Jim : You know what, I would save the receptionist. I just wanted to clear that up. (Pam

Roy : Hey, everybody, uh, could I have your attention for just a second? Would you listen to me for a second? We were up at the front and we were talking about what's really important and... (제가 모두 앞에서 할 중대한 발표가 있거든요) Pam, um, I think enough is enough. (충분히 생각해봤어) I think we should set a date for our wedding. (결혼에 대해서 말이야) How about June 10th? Come on, let's do it. (일로와 결혼하자) Come on baby!

? : Oh, my God, congratulations! Congratulations. Yes! Oh, my God!

Roy : I love you baby, come on!

? : Congratulations!

Micheal : Come on, I don't want to take credit for this, (이봐, 하는 김에 확실히 하자고) but Roy and I were just having a conversation about making commitments and making choices, right? Did I motivate you?

Roy : No, it was, it was Captain Jack.

Micheal : Well....

? : Captain Jack !

Micheal : Could have been either one of us (누구든 상관없는거지 뭐) because, pretty much, we were saying the same thing. (뭐 어느정도 비슷한 소리를 해줬잖아) Congratulations, that is great.

Jack : We gotta celebrate! Hey, hey, hey, hey,

I got an idea, I got an idea. I can marry you right now as captain of the ship, huh?

Micheal : I can marry you as Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin!

P : No, no, no, no, I want my mom and dad to be there.

Micheal : Then, I'll give you away!

Pam : No, thank you.

---------------------------------------

? : Do you think that'll ever be us?

Jim : No.

? : What is wrong with you? Why did you even bring me here tonight?

Jim : I don't know. Let's break up.

? : Wh-what !?

---------------------------------------

Jack : This is where old Captain Jack drives the boat.

---------------------------------------

D : Seasick? Captain Jack says you should look at the moon.

Micheal : Captain Jack's a fart face. (캡틴 Jack 개나 주라지) I'm on medication.

Brenda : Really? What?

Micheal : Vomicillin. (속이 거북해서요) Okay, all right, it's time to be boss. Time to motivate, let's blow some minds here. (모두에게 의욕을 갖게 해줘야지) Okay guys, guys, guys, cool it. (잠깐 멈춰줘요) Everybody. Dunder Mifflin and Scranton employees. Brenda. I have some very, very, urgent news I need to tell everybody. Right now, listen up. The ship, is sinking. Okay? We're going down, right now. (우린 지금 가라앉고 있어요) Just wrap your heads around the reality of that. 농담이 아닙니다) Shh, please, everybody, it's my turn now, okay? (모두 가라앉을거라고요) Captain Jack is gone. In five minutes, this ship is going to be at the bottom of the lake. And there aren't enough spaces on the lifeboats. Who are we going to save? Do we save sales? Do we save customer service? Do we save accounting? This is a business scenario, right? It's a scary..

Jack : What the hell's going on here?

Micheal : It's a predicament. (모두 곤경에 처하신겁니다) And it's something that each and everyone of us have to think about.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : I'm in the brig, see? (보시다시피 돛대 옆에 묶여있네요) Boat's not as corporate friendly as advertised. (보트 안은 회사 안처럼 우정도 없고 아주 냉정하군요) What is the deal with the guy jumping overboard? What was... If he had just waited and heard what I had to say, (만약 그 사람이 제가 하는 말을 끝까지 들었더라면) he would be motivated right now and not all wet.

---------------------------------------

Jim : Somebody there? What happened to you?

Micheal : Captain Jack has a problem with authority.

Jim : Oh, right, 'cause you announced that his ship was sinking?

Micheal : Yeah, he just totally lost it. (그 자식 이상한 놈이야) If you ask me, he caused the panic.

Jim : What a night.

Micheal : Well, it's nice for you. Your friend got engaged.

Jim : She was always engaged.

Micheal : Roy said the first one didn't count. (Roy

Jim : That's...great. You know, to tell you the truth, I... (사실은 말이죠 제가...) used to have a bigthing for Pam.

Micheal : Really? You're kidding me. You and Pam? I would have never... put you two together. (난 한번도 둘을 엮어서 생각해본적이 없어) You really hid it well, God! I usually have a radar for stuff like that. (그런식으로 생각도 못해봤다고) You know, I made out with Jan.

Jim : Yeah, I know.

Micheal : Yeah ? Yep. Well, Pam is cute.

Jim : Yeah. She's really funny and... She's warm and she's just... Anyway.

Micheal : Well, if you like her so much, uh, don't give up.

Jim : She's engaged.

Micheal : B.F.D. Engaged ain't married. (약혼은 결혼이 아니야) Never, ever, ever give up.

Dwight : Don't worry, Michael. I'm taking us to shore.

Micheal : It's a fake wheel, dummy.
