The Secret

Jim : Nothing much what's up with you?

Pam : I cannot believe I feel for that.

Micheal : What? What? Where's the funny? Give it to me.

Jim : Is it me or does it smell like updog in here?

Micheal : What's updog?

Jim : Nothing much, what's up with you?

Micheal : I walked right into that. (이제 이해했어) Oh, that's brilliant.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Hey Stanley. Is that jacket made of updog?

Stanley : I'm on the phone.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : What flavor coffee is that, updog?

Ryan : What's that?

Micheal : I don't know. Nothing. What's up with you? Huh?

Ryan : No.

Micheal : Damn it.

---------------------------------------

Kevin : What does that mean?

Micheal : What does what mean?

Kevin : That thing you just said.

Micheal : Just forget it. Dwight. Hey, is it me or does this place smell like updog?

Dwight : What's updog?

Micheal : Gotcha! Oh God! Crap. Nothing. How are you doing?

Dwight : Good. How are you doing?

Jim : "So close."

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Today is spring cleaning day here at Dunder Mifflin. And yes, I know it's January. I am not an idiot. But if you do your spring cleaning in January, guess what you don't have to do in the spring? Anything. (없습니다) They say a cluttered desk means a cluttered mind. Well, I say an empty desk means an...

Dwight : Empty mind.

Micheal : No, that's not... No. That's not what I was going to say.

---------------------------------------

Dwight : Meredith. Men's room. Make sure you replace the urinal cakes. (변기를 새것처럼 해놔) They're worn down. (너무 낡았어) Kevin, file drawers. Angela, kitchen. Oscar, dusting. Where's Oscar?

Angela : He's out sick.

Dwight : That is unacceptable.

Angela : I agree. It's unacceptable.

Kevin : What are you guys doing?

---------------------------------------

Dwight : Michael.

Micheal : Yes.

Dwight : Oscar is out sick.

Micheal : On a Friday?

---------------------------------------

Dwight : Can I do some of the talking?

Micheal : I will do the talking.

Dwight : 'Kay, let him know that I'm here, though.

Micheal : What difference does it make that you're here? Hi, Oscar, it's Michael.

Dwight : And Dwight.

Micheal : Heard you were under the weather.

Oscar : Yeah, I think I came down with the flu.

Micheal : Really. Oh, that is a shame. (안됐구만) You know, it's cleaning day here today. Could've used some of that famous Hispanic cleaning ethic.

Oscar : Yeah, I feel terrible about it.

Dwight : Ask for his symptoms, I'm on WebMD.

Micheal : What are your symptoms?

Oscar : I have the chills, I'm feeling nauseous, and my head's killing.

Dwight : Checks out.

Oscar : Is there anything you need from me? I would like to go back to bed.

Micheal : I need you to go to bed. I need you to get better. See you Monday, unless you're still sick. So, have a great long weekend.

Oscar : I'll just be sleep...

Dwight : Okay, first impressions.

Micheal : He sounded sick.

Dwight : Which is exactly how you'd want to sound, if you wanted someone to think you were sick.

Micheal : That's exactly what I was thinking.

Dwight : Question, may I investigate ?

Micheal : Yeah, drop what you're doing. (그래, 청소는 놔두고) Make this a priority. (수사에 착수해봐) Because an office can't function efficiently unless people are at their desks doing their jobs.

---------------------------------------

Pam : I bought my veil.

Kelly : Oh my God, that is so exciting. Can I be a bridesmaid? (들러리) Listen, you don't have to answer now, but how are you going to do your hair?

Pam : Okay, I was thinking about wearing it down. (머리를 풀러보는 것도 생각해 봤어) Kind of like, I don't know, like... 모르겠다...) loose with big curls.

Kelly : You look like an angel, I'm seriously going to cry.

Micheal : Wowee, Mikey likey. Why don't you wear your hair down like that all the time? It's much sexier. Man, this must be torture for you.

---------------------------------------

Jim : Yeah, on the booze cruise, I... told Michael about some feelings I used to have for Pam. I had just broken up with Keity, and... had a couple of drinks. And... (Keity하고 헤어진 상태였고 술도 몇 잔 마셨기 때문에) I confided in the world's worst confidant.

---------------------------------------

Jim : Hey, Mike.

Micheal : Hey, Jim bag.

Jim : Remember that thing I told you on the booze cruise about Pam? That was personal. So, if we could just keep that between you and me, that would be great.

Micheal : Really? Who else knows?

Jim : Nobody.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Jim and I are great friends. We hang out a ton. (항상 붙어 있어요) Mostly at work. (주로 여기서요) But the fact that he told me his secret and no one else, says everything about our friendship. (우리의 우정이 얼마만큼인지를 보여주죠) And it is why I intend on keeping that secret, for as long as I possibly can.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : My lips are sealed. "My lips are sealed." Bangles.

Jim : All right, great, thank you.

Micheal : "Can you hear me, They talk about us," "Telling lies"

---------------------------------------

Dwight : Listen, temp, I am conducting a little investigation. So, I am no longer gonna be able to head up spring cleaning. (그래서 내가 더 이상 여기서 대청소 지휘를 할 수 없어) Do you think you can handle it?

Ryan : Yeah, I think I can handle it.

Dwight : Do you think... or do you know?

Ryan : I think.

Dwight : Oh, God. Here.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Hey, whatcha getting?

Jim : I'm going with grape.

Micheal : Good stuff. Good stuff. See the game last night?

Jim : Which game? Any of 'em. (아무것이든) So, uh, what's the 411? Any updates on the "P" situation?

Jim : I don't know what you mean..

Micheal : P-A-M

Jim : Oh. Yeah. No. / M : P-A.. Oh, okay.

Micheal : No, it's okay. We're talking code.

Stanley : What is?

Micheal : Listen, Stan... how long does it take you for you to pick out a soda?

Jim : I'm gonna take off actually.

Micheal : All right, well. Cool. Still deciding? Peach iced tea. You're gonna hate it.

---------------------------------------

Dwight : Hey, Oscar, how you doing? Dwight Schrute calling. Listen, little question for you, buddy. I called six minutes ago, and no one answered. So I as wondering if you could explain... Oh, I see. So, sounds like you're too sick to come into work, but you're well enough to go to the pharmacy.

---------------------------------------

Dwight : There are several different ways to tell if a perp is lying. (범죄자들이 하는 몇 가지 거짓말들이 있습니다) The liar will avoid direct eye contact. The liar will cover part of his or her face with his hand. Especially the mouth. The liar will perspire. (거짓말쟁이는 땀을 흘립니다) Unfortunately, I spoke to Oscar on the phone. So none of this is useful.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : It's grrrrrape soda.

Jim : Tony the Tiger, you don't hear that much anymore.

Micheal : Not so much.

Dwight : Okay, what is going on here?

Micheal : Nothing.

Dwight : Oh, really, nothing? Fact, you are drinking grape soda. You never drink grape soda. Fact, you are talking to Jim, you never talk to Jim.

Micheal  : Fact, I love grape soda. I always have. Fact, Jim and I talk all the time. We tell each other secrets.

Dwight : Okay, so what is the secret, Michael ?

Jim : Well, I... I had asked Michael if I could head up the Oscar investigation, and he said that only Dwight was capable of handling such sensitive material.

Dwight : Is that true?

Micheal : I don't know. Uh, yeah, yeah, it is.

Dwight : Thank you Michael. I know you're telling the truth.

Micheal : Okay.

Dwight : I can tell. I won't let you down.

Micheal : Good.

Dwight : Thanks.

Micheal : Nice, that was... that was slick. (잘했어, 그거 정말 교묘했어) What're you doing for lunch?

Jim : I don't know, I'm probably just gonna eat my ham and cheese sandwich in the break room.

Micheal : Nonsense. No way, no. Why don't... Why don't I take you out to lunch? My treat.

Jim : No, that's all right. Thank you, though. It's... I gotta do some cleaning. I should probably stick around here.

Micheal : You know what we can do? Spread out a blanket in the break room, (휴게실에 담요를 펴는거야) have a little picnic, order some 'za. (피자같은거 주문해서) Talk about you-know-who.

Jim : Nope.

Micheal : The P, to the A, to the... (P 뒤에 A 뒤에..)

Jim : You know what, let's go out. That was a good idea. Let's go out.

Micheal : I know just the place.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Oh, man. You should order milk. Get it?

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Why do I like Hooters? Well, I will give you two reasons. The boobs and the hot wings.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Oh, here we go, here we go. (, 여기 오네, 왔어) Bogie at three o'clock.

Dana : Hey, I'm Dana. Welcome to Hooters.

Micheal : We're not worthy. We're not worthy. Hello, Dana. I am Michael, and this is Jim. And we are brothers. / J : Nope. We're not brothers.

Micheal : I'm his boss, actually. And I treat him well. I'm taking him out to lunch because I can afford it. (그 정도 여유는 있으니까요) And he can have whatever he wants.

Jim : I'll just have the ham and cheese sandwich, thanks.

Dana : And for you? Tell me, Dana. How is your chicken breast?

Dana : Oh, it's great. It's served with our world-famous wing sauce.

Micheal : Mm, sounds yummy. I will have a chicken breast. Hold the chicken. (가슴에 끼고 가져오세요) / Dana : Is that what you really want?

Micheal : No, I'm gonna have the gourmet hotdog.

Dana : Great.

---------------------------------------

Dwight : Who took all the black ones?

Pam : That's a communal bowl.

Dwight : So, how did Oscar sound when he called in?

Pam : Sick. Like, lots of sniffling. (자꾸 훌쩍이는거 같았어) I don't know.

Dwight : Sniffling how?

Pam : Hum, how many different ways are there to sniffle?

Dwight : Three.

Pam : Okay, it was the second one.

Dwight : Okay, good. Thank you. That wasn't so hard, now was it?

---------------------------------------

Micheal : What do you like best about Pam?

Jim : I really don't wanna talk about it.

Micheal : Her legs or boobs, or...?

Jim : She's easy to talk to, I guess. And, she's got a really good sense of humor.

Micheal : Really? Never gets any of my jokes.

Jim : What about you?

Micheal : Her boobs, definitely.

Jim : That's not what I meant.

Dana : Here you go.

Micheal : Oh, thank you.

Dana : And I understand, we have a birthday today!

Micheal : Oh, happy birthday, Jim.

Dana : Ready, girls?

Girls : Front side! "You put your front side in," "you put your front side out, You put your front side in," "And you shake it all about" "You do the hokey-pokey and you turn yourself around," "That's what it's all about !"

Jim : Thank you. Thanks. Thanks Dana.

Micheal : Thank you very much.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : That was hilarious. Hey.

Pam : What did you guys talk about?

Jim : Just, you know, politics. Literature.

Pam : I hate you.

---------------------------------------

Dwight : Quick Oscar update. I have conducted interviews with everyone in the office...

Micheal : Just go to his house and see if he's sick. I could've done this investigation in like, 20 minutes.

Dwight : Including prep time?

Micheal : Just do it.

---------------------------------------

Ryan : If I had to, I could clean out my desk in 5 seconds... and nobody would ever know I had ever been here. And I'd forget too.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : Expense this.

Kevin : Michael, is that a wig?

Micheal : No, it's.. I wear it like that sometimes. (나도 가끔 이렇게 해) Is that a wig?

Kevin : No.

Angela : This is from Hooters. (Hooters

Micheal : Yeah, it's a business lunch.

Angela : Did Toby approve this? (Tobby

Micheal : No, he did not. I don't need his permission.

---------------------------------------

Tobby : You just got your corporate credit card back. (본사 카드 반납하셔야 할지도 몰라요) Do you really want me to take it away again?

---------------------------------------

Micheal : It's ridiculous. They took my card away because I spent 80 bucks at a magic shop. What they don't understand is that I bought the stuff to impress potential clients. So business-related, right?

---------------------------------------

Micheal : I put a cigarette through a freakin' quarter. (난 담배를 망할 동전에 꽂아넣기까지했어) And you know what, Tobby? They almost bought from us.

Tobby : I'm not processing this.

Micheal : Look, Jim needed a relaxing lunch. He has been depressed. And it has been affecting his productivity. How is that not work-related?

Tobby : He seems fine to me.

Micheal : You're not his friend. You don't know. He is in love with a girl he works with who's engaged. So just cut me some slack, please.

Kelly : Pam?

---------------------------------------

Phylis : Angela, who would you choose? Jim or Roy?

Angela : It's nobody's business, (우리일이 아니야) Phyllis. Roy.

---------------------------------------

Kevin : Jim has got it bad for Pam. (JimPam

Creed : Which one is Pam? (누가 Pam이지?)

Kevin : Well, she... Hey, Michael? So do you think Jim will try to break up the wedding?

Micheal : You know what, Kevin? Jim is a friend of mine. So the only people that this crush really concerns is Jim and Pam.. and me.

---------------------------------------

Dwight : As a volunteer sheriff's deputy, I've been doing surveillance for years. (전 일년동안 주말 자원 보안관으로 감시하는 일을 해왔었죠) One time, (한번은) I suspected an ex-girlfriend of mine of cheating on me. (전여자친구가 바람핀다고 의심해서) So I tailed her for six nights straight. (6일을 내리 쫓아다닌 적이 있었는데요) Turns out, she was. (역시나 바람피더군요) With a couple of guys, actually, so. (사실 저 혼자 한거는 아니지만, 그래도) Mystery solved.

---------------------------------------

Kelly : Jim, why didn't you tell me that you had a crush on Pam? (Pam

---------------------------------------

Jim : Well, the cat's out of the bag. I used to have a crush on Pam. (Pam을 좋아하긴 했었어요) And now I... don't. Riveting.

---------------------------------------

Kevin : Yeah.

Jim : No, it's not.

Kevin : Nice. She is so hot.

---------------------------------------

Pam : Hey.

Jim : Hey.

Pam : Did you find anything good in your desk?

Jim : Coupon for a free sandwich.

Pam : Score.

Jim : Expired in August. (근데 8월까지였어) And my cell phone charger from two years ago.

Pam : Big day.

Jim : Big day. Hey, uh, listen. I, told Michael on the booze cruise... It was so stupid. I told Michael, that I had had a crush on you... when you first started here. Well, I just thought that... I figured you should hear it from me. (네가 나한테 들어야 해명이 될 거 같아서) Rather than, I mean, you know Michael.

Pam : Right.

Jim : And... seriously. It's... totally not a big deal. And when I found out that you were engaged, I mean...

Pam : No, I know. Like, I kind of... Like, I... I thought that maybe you did. (네가 그럴지도 모를거라 생각했어) When I first started.

Jim : Oh, you did ?

Pam : No, I mean, just 'cause we, like, got along so well.

Jim : No, I know, yeah. You saw through me. Great.

Pam : So are you gonna be, like, totally awkward around me now?

Jim : Oh, yeah. Yeah. Hope that's okay. And Pam. It was like, three years ago. So, I am totally over it.

Pam : Cool.

Jim : Okay.

---------------------------------------

Dwight : Stay low. (숙이세요) This is it. There he is. He's been gone for at least two... Who is that? Come to Papa. (여길 봐라) Oh, yes. Let's roll. (갑시다) I knew it! (진작 알았어) Oh, man, you are so busted. (, 넌 진짜 딱 걸렸어) Ice skates. Shopping bags. I think I know what's going on here. (일이 어떻게 돌아가는지 알 것 같군) You weren't sick at all.

Gil : Who's this?

Dwight : This is Dwight Schrute. Who is this?

Gil : Gil.

Micheal : Are you going to tell Michael?

Dwight  : How 'bout this? I don't tell Michael, and in exchange, you owe me one great, big, giant favor redeemable by me at a time and place of my choosing.

---------------------------------------

Dwight : Guess what I found out about Oscar tonight? He was lying about being sick. (아픈 척 거짓말 한거죠) Should I have reported Oscar's malfeasance? Probably. But now I know something he doesn't want me to know. (그리고 전 Oscar가 숨기려던 걸 알고 있죠) So I can use his malfeasance... to establish leverage. (이용할 수 있죠) Otherwise, it's just malfeasance, for malfeasance's...s sake.

---------------------------------------

J : Hey.

Micheal : I know. I know. I know.

Jim : What happened?

Micheal : I... oh. Just, you know, I was trying... just the expense reports. And then... God, Tobby, you know? He just... I know. I just... I just hope that... I just hope that this doesn't affect our friendship! It's stupid. This is so stupid.

Jim : Listen, man, it's... You know, it's not a big deal. It's gonna be fine.

Micheal : No, I know. I'm good, I'm good. It's just...

Jim : Look, it's one day. Everything's gonna be all right. / J : You good ?

Micheal : Yeah, I'm good.

Jim : Okay.

---------------------------------------

Ryan : Creed, did you organize the menu book?

Creed : I thought that was more on a volunteer basis.

Ryan : No, that was mandatory.

Creed : I thought it was a volunteer thing.

---------------------------------------

Pam : Hey, here's your schedule for next week. Are you okay?

Micheal : Yeah, I'm fine. Look. About you and Jim, I...

Pam : Oh, no, that's... You don't have to...

Micheal : No, I just feel it's my responsibility as your boss-slash-friend...

Pam : No, it's really... it's okay. I know that Jim had, like, a crush on me when he first started. But that was a long time ago, so...

Micheal : It wasn't that long ago. It was on the booze cruise.

Pam : Jim had a crush on me on the booze cruise, or he told you about it on the booze cruise. (Jim

Micheal : Okay. Shut it, Michael. I'm done. That's it, I'm out.

---------------------------------------

Jim : Ready?

Pam : Yup.

---------------------------------------

Micheal : People are always coming to me. Michael, I have a secret. You're the only one I trust. No thanks, (됐어요) because keeping a secret can only lead to trouble. (왜냐면 비밀을 숨기는건 문제만 생기게 하니까) Like, I was watching Cinemax last weekend, this movie. "Portrait of a.. Prostitute." (창녀의 초상) Something.. Secrets of a call.. More "Secrets of a Call Girl." 아니, 콜걸의 비밀이요) And the lead character, Shila, is framed for murder. (살인을 하게 되고) Goes on the run, and winds up working at a bordello in Malibu. (도망을 치던 중에 Malibu의 사창가에서 일하는걸로 끝이 나는데요) I don't.. I don't wanna live like that. I like it here. I don't wanna be Shila. I like being Michael Scott.
