The office 시즌2 - 2x12
The injury
Oscar : But the Lord of the Rings trilogy, if you see it back to back...
---------------------------------------
Pam : Dunder Mifflin this is Pam.
Micheal : Pam, it's Michael. Help me, I need help right now!
Pam : Michael, what's wrong?
Micheal : I'm hurt, I have hurt myself. Oh my God!
Pam : Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait !
Micheal : This is not looking good Pam!
Pam : Michael, do you need me to call you an ambulance?
Micheal : No, I want you to pick me up.
Pam : Okay.
Jim : What's going on ?
Pam : I thought you said that you were hurt.
Micheal : I am hurt. I hurt my foot.
Jim : I'm sorry ? Pam, what's going on ?
Micheal : I want to come to work... ...but I need you to come pick me up. Ohh, God!
Jim : Hey, whoa! Michael!
Micheal : Oh, God!
Jim : It's okay. It's Jim. Just say again, really loudly, uh, what happened. Okay, Buhh! I burned my foot. Very badly on my Foreman grill (심하게 Foreman 그릴에 데었어) and I now need someone to come and bring me into work.
Jim : You burned YOUR foot on a Foreman grill?
---------------------------------------
Micheal : I enjoy having breakfast in bed. (전 침대 위에서 아침 먹기를 좋아합니다) I like waking up with the smell of bacon. Sue me. (그리고 아침에 베이컨 구워지는 냄새를 맡으며 일어나는걸 좋아해요) And since I don't have a butler, I have to do it myself. (제 담당요리사가 없어진 뒤로는 혼자 아침을 해먹어야 했죠) So, most nights before I go to bed, I will lay six strips of bacon out on my George Foreman grill. (베이컨을 여섯 조각 내어서 Foreman 그릴 위에 올려놓지요) Then I go to sleep. When I wake up, I plug in the grill. (아침이 되면 그릴을 켜지요) I go back to sleep again. Then I wake up to the smell of crackling bacon. (그리고는 베이컨 구워지는 냄새가 나면 일어나 가는거죠) It is delicious, it's good for me. It's a perfect way to start the day. Today I got up, I stepped onto the grill and it clamped down on my foot, that's it. 그게 다에요) I don't see what's so hard to believe about that.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Pam, could you come get me? (Pam,
Pam : Uh, I have to stay here and answer the phone.
Micheal : Okay, could someone come and get me, please? Ryan?
Phylis : Michael, you should stay home and rest.
Micheal : There's no toilet paper here. Could Ryan... Tell Ryan to bring toilet paper! Could you tell him that?
Kevin : Can you hop?
Micheal : I tried hopping Kevin, and I bumped my elbow against the wall, (그리고 팔꿈치를 벽에 찧었어) and now my elbow has a "protruberence". (그리고 혹까지 나려고 하고 있어) No one wants to pick me up?!
Dwight : What is going on? What is going on?
Pam : Michael is, um, sick. And he wants one of us to rescue him. / M : I'm not sick, I'm...
Dwight : I'm coming, Michael! I'm going to save you!
Micheal : Don't ! Is that Dwight? I do not want Dwight.
Dwight : Hold on Michael, I am coming!
Micheal : Wait there! I do not want Dwight!
Pam : Michael, why don't you call your girlfriend ?
Micheal : I don't have a girlfriend.
Jim : But you said you went out with her this weekend.
Micheal : It was all made up. (다 만들어낸거였어) Just, someone come, okay? Anyone. Anyone but Dwight. / J : What was that?
Pam : What WAS that?
Dwight : He hit the pole.
Jim : It's broken, right? He can't...
Pam : Oh my gosh.
Jim : Oh my God.
Pam : Oh my Gosh. Is he okay?
Jim : He's still driving. Dwight.. you forgot your bumper!
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Hello? Please don't send Dwight.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Morning everyone. Don't freak out. (놀라지마) I forbid anybody to freak out. (아무도 놀라지 않았으면 좋겠어) Clearly I have had a very serious accident. But I will recover. God willing. (나을거라 믿어) I just wanna be treated normally today. (난 평소처럼 일하고 싶어) Normal would actually be good. (그게 더 좋겠지) Considering the trauma that I've been through.
Pam : You missed two big conference calls today. One with corporate.
Micheal : Did you explain why?
Pam : No, I didn't mention that you cooked your foot.
Micheal : Burned my foot, Pam. (데인거거든) Please stop popping my cast. Thank you.
Jim : So where are you shipping your foot?
Micheal : So where are you shipping..
Dwight : Your foot.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Thank you. Pam, messages please.
Pam : You didn't have any.
Micheal : Really? Well, seemed, uh, very important to you earlier, (아까 전엔 매우 중요했었나봐?) that you needed to stay and..
Pam : Do my job?
Micheal : No. Your job is being my friend, Pam... and...
Dwight : It slipped.
Micheal : What did...
Dwight : Sorry.
Pam : It's just that before, you said you didn't want any special treatment.
Micheal : I don't want any special treatment, Pam. just want you to treat me like you would a family member who's undergone some sort of serious physical trauma. I don't think that's too much to ask.
Pam : Do you want some aspirin? Because you seem a little fussy.
Micheal : No, I don't want some aspirin. Yeah, I am fussy. Asiprin's not gonna do a damn thing. (아스피린 따위는 필요 없어) I'm sitting here with a bloody stump of a foot.
Dwight : Pam, I am Assistant Regional Manager. And I can take care of him. Part of my duties are to..
Micheal : What? Part of your duties are to what ?
Dwight : What?
Micheal : You just said part of your duties are to something. (자네가 방금 뭔가가 자네의 의무 중 하나라고 했잖나) / D : No, I didn't.
Micheal : Yes, you did. What is wrong with you?
Dwight : What is wrong with you?
---------------------------------------
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Where is my cornbread?
Ryan : Here you go.
Micheal : Thank you. Did you get all dark meat like I like?
Ryan : Yes, I ordered three full rotisserie chickens worth of all dark meat.
Micheal : Where are the yams? (yam
Ryan : They were out of yams. I got you creamed spinach. (yam
Micheal : Did you go to the one in Stroudsburg?
Ryan : Yes.
Micheal : And they had no yams?
Ryan : They had no yams. How strange. Because they always have yams.
---------------------------------------
Dwight : Oh, man, is that a Prism Duro Sport? (그거 Prism Duro Sport 아냐?)
Pam : You've seen one of these?
Dwight : Yeah, they're like an iPod, only they're better. 'Cause they're chunkier and more solid.
Pam : Roy gave it to me for Christmas. I'm trying to figure out how to put songs on it.
Dwight : Oh, no, no, no. Don't go there. I know this Russian website, where you can download songs for two cents a piece.
Pam : Really?
Dwight : Yeah, I'll write down the address for you. Only, the only thing is.. is that all the songs, are in Russian. Why would they all be.. Okay, see you later, Pan.
Pam : Pan?
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Pam? Pam!
Pam : Oh, God. What?
Micheal : Come here, please.
Pam : Tell me before I come there.
Micheal : I want you to rub butter on my foot.
Pam : No.
Micheal : Pam, please. I have Country Crock.
Pam : No.
Micheal : Ryan! Ryan! Ryan!
---------------------------------------
Dwight : These covers... are totally indestructable.
Pam : Really?
Dwight : Yeah. Throw it. I promise it won't break. (장담하는데 안깨질걸) Oh, no, it's broken.
Pam : What?
Dwight : No, it's fine. (뻥이야, 사실 괜찮아) I told you it wouldn't break. You could throw it all day long.
Pam : That is so cool. (진짜 좋다) Thanks Dwight.
Dwight : You're welcome.
---------------------------------------
Jim : So, I guess Pam and Dwight are friends now.
---------------------------------------
Pam : Oh, God, no. Dwight isn't my friend. Oh my God... Dwight's kind of my friend.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : No, no, no one is helping me out at all, Mom. 엄마, 아무도 전혀 안도와줘요) No, I'm not gonna call Jan. (Jan한테는 전화 안해요) She'd just worry. Drive down here and make a big thing. (여기로 와서는 큰일을 만들거에요) Who told you that? No, it was mutual. What is Pam doing chatting with you?
---------------------------------------
Dwight : Do you like candy?
Angela : It's alright.
Dwight : 'Cause you're sweeter than candy.
Angela : What is wrong with you? Hey, cut...
---------------------------------------
Tobby : Wow, you just dive right in.
Ryan : You know, around age 12, I just started going for it, (그냥 무작정 하려고 마음먹었어요) you know?
Micheal : Oh, help! Help me!
Tobby : What happened?
Micheal : I fell of the toilet. (나 변기에 주저 않았어) I'm caught between the toilet and the wall.
Tobby : What do you need?
Micheal : Not you. Someone else. Get Pam.
Tobby : I don't think Pam's gonna want to come into the men's room.
Micheal : Get Ryan. He needs to lift me. And he needs to clean me up a little bit. (그리고 치워줘야 할게 있어) Bring a wet towel.
Tobby : Ryan is, uh... dead.
Micheal : No he's not.
Tobby : Dead.
Micheal : I just saw him.
Tobby : He's... can you just get up yourself? I... you only grilled your foot.
Micheal : Oh, forget it. I'll just get up myself. (그냥 혼자 일어날게) Ow, God!
---------------------------------------
Jim : Do you think Dwight's being a little weird today?
Pam : No... He's actually been really nice and helpful.
Jim : And that isn't weird?
Pam : Well..
Micheal : Can I have everyone's attention, please? Phyllis... Oscar... Ryan, who is supposed to be dead. (Ryan이라는 죽어있어야 할 사람도) Can I ask you all a question? Do you know what it's like to be disabled? Oscar?
Phylis : I had scoliosis as a girl.
Micheal : Never heard of it. No... (그거 말고) a real disability. Not a woman's trouble.
? : When I was a teenager, I was in an iron lung.
Micheal : What... how old are you? No, it... Look, the point is... I am the only one here who has a legitimate disability. Although I'm sure Stanley has had his fair share of obstacles.
Stanley : I'm not disabled, and neither are you.
Micheal : Okay. What does this look like to you, Stanley?
Stanley : Mail Boxes, Etc.
Micheal : Shut...it. Okay. Well... Well, you know what? Disabilities are not things to be laughed at, or laughed about. You people are jerks. (다들 머저리야) Imagine if you had left Stevie Wonder on the floor of that bathroom instead of me.
Phylis : Oh, we wouldn't. We love Stevie Wonder.
Micheal : I burned my foot! Okay, 20 minutes, conference room. Everybody's in there!
Dwight : Dad?
---------------------------------------
Micheal : While we are waiting for our special guest to arrive, I wanted you all to take a look at a few of the many, (자네들 모두 이 사람들을 봐줬으면 하네) many disabled icons who have contributed so much to our society.
Jim : Quick question.
Micheal : Yeah?
Jim : Why is Tom Hanks on the wall?
Ryan : Twice.
Micheal : Good question. Forrest Gump, mentally challenged. AIDS.
Kevin : I think that's from Big.
Micheal : I don't think so, no.
Kelly : Yeah, he's dancing on a piano with Robert Loggia.
Micheal : He grew into a man overnight. (쟨 하룻밤 사이에 성인이 된거잖아) A rare disability. It still works. (보기드문 장애지, 이것도 말이 되잖아) A crossword puzzle Stanley? Seriously, are you learning nothing here?
Stanley : Mm-hmm
Micheal : What do you mean, "Mm-hmm"? (Mm-hmm
Stanley : I mean I'm learning nothing. / M : Okay.
Billy : Michael Scott. I'm looking for Michael Scott.
Micheal : Yes, right in here.
Billy : Good.
Micheal : Come on in..
Billy : Great.
Micheal : This ladies and gentlemen, is our special guest.
Billy : Sorry I'm late. Somebody parked in the handicapped parking space. Hey, everyone. I'm Billy Merchant. You may have seen me around here before. I'm the properties manager of this office park.
Micheal : You are so brave. You are so brave.
Billy : Thank you. Actually, I've been meaning to come by here or a long time...
Micheal : But it's hard for you, right? Because you're in a wheelchair.
Billy : No, I just have a lot of properties to manage.
Micheal : Let me ask you something. How long does it take you to do something simple? Everyday, like... like brush your teeth in the morning.
Billy : I don't know, like, 30 seconds.
Micheal : Oh, my God. That's three times as long as it takes me. How did you, get in your wheelchair?
Billy : This morning? Just like every other morning. Just climbed on in.
Micheal : Hey, hey, hey, hey! Not funny, not funny!
Billy : Hey, hey, relax just, uh.. joking around here.
Micheal : Well, that's good. He still has a sense of humor.
Billy : Listen, I've actually used a chair since I was four years old. I don't really notice it anymore.
Micheal : Well, they do. (아뇨, 이 사람들은 그래요) They notice it. Don't you? You notice it. It's the first thing you saw when he rolled in here, isn't it?
---------------------------------------
Jim : I wanna clamp Michael's face in a George Foreman grill.
---------------------------------------
Billy : So there are just a couple things I wanted to remind everybody of.
Micheal : Okay.
Billy : First is parking. You can't block the freight entrance with your car, even if your blinkers are on. (거기에 차가 없더라도 말이죠) Does anybody have any questions? Yes? Yeah? Yes?
Pam : Dwight, you have your hand up.
Micheal : Ignore him.
Micheal : You know what? (있죠) We're not that different, you and I. When I clamped my foot into a non-stick..
Billy : You know what, Michael?
Micheal : Yeah?
Billy : Let me stop you right there...
Micheal : Okay.
Billy : and leave.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Did you see "Born on the 4th of July"? I was under the impression that Billy would be more like that guy.
---------------------------------------
---------------------------------------
Billy : What's wrong with that guy?
Jim : You mean today? He stepped on a George Forman grill and he burned his foot.
Micheal : No, not Michael. The moon-faced kid who crashed into the pole. (아까 기둥에 차 박았던 얼굴이 많이 부어보이던데요) He looks like he has a concussion.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Hey!
Ryan : I found the pudding cups you wanted at a gas station in Carbondale!
Micheal : You did it. Look at you! And with the plate and the napkin. Very nice. Thank you, Ryan.
Ryan : You're very welcome.
Micheal : Did you get the yams? (yam
Ryan : No, the gas station in Carbondale did not have fresh yams.
Micheal : Okay. I'll just have the pudding.
Ryan : You sure?
Micheal : Yeah.
Ryan : Okay.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : You know what? I feel better. Ryan brought me some chocolate pudding and his kindness healed my foot.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Yeah, baby! I am feelin' better. My body's literally healing itself. It is amazing what the human body is capable of when you have a powerful brain.
---------------------------------------
Ryan : I ground up four extra strength aspirins and put them in Michael's pudding. (제가 4개의 아스피린을 으깨서 점장님의 푸딩에 넣었어요) I do the same thing for my dog to get him to take his heartworm medicine.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Ohh, finally feel the blood coursing through my foot veins.
Jim : Okay, I think we need to take him to the hospital, because... I'm pretty sure he has a concussion.
Micheal : Oh, now you feel some compassion for him.
Angela : He needs to go right now. And you're his emergency contact. (점장님이 Dwight의 비상연락망이시니) I think you should go with him.
Micheal : Why don't you go with him?
Angela : I barely know him.
Dwight : I want Michael to take me.
Micheal : I can't take you. I don't have my car.
Dwight : Please?
Micheal : And yours is all vomity.
Meredith : You can take my van!
Micheal : Oh, okay. That's great. No, I can't drive. Jim, why don't you drive?
Jim : Fine.
Micheal : We'll go. I'm still recovering. So let's just...
Ryan, can you get my coat please?
Jim : Slowly. 'Kay? Let's just get to the elevator.
Jim : What are you doing?
Dwight : Vietnam sounds.
Jim : Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.
Dwight : Tired.
Jim : Can't lay down.
Dwight : Just take a rake...
Jim : Wake up!
Pam : Wait, here, let me help you Dwight. Come on. Get up.
Dwight : Thanks.
Pam : Get up.
Dwight : You're the best.
Jim : Just keep him awake.
Dwight : It smells like chicken soup.
Pam : I know.
Dwight : I have to go to the hospital.
Pam : I know.
Dwight : Where are we going?
Pam : I just wanna say good-bye, okay?
Dwight : I'll be back, I mean...
Pam : Yes, I know. But it's gonna be different.
Dwight : Why?
Pam : It's just hard to explain.
Dwight : Oh, Pam, you're adorable.
Pam : Oh, my goodness. Come here.
Dwight : Ohh. Huggy hugs.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Shotgun!
Jim : You don't think you should sit in the back with Dwight? (Dwight
---------------------------------------
Micheal : The rules of shotgun are very simple and very clear. (샷건 게임) The first person to shout shotgun when you're within the sight of the car gets the front seat. (첫번째 사람이 샷건이라고 외치면 차 앞쪽 창가 좌석에 앉을 수 있는거죠) That's how the game's played. There are no exceptions for someone with a concussion.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Oh, God, a minivan. What is Meredith's problem?
Jim : Well, I think she has a kid.
Micheal : Yeah, she has one kid and no husband. She's not going to find one driving this thing around.
Dwight : Where are we going?
Jim : Come on. Get inside.
Dwight : Where are we going ?
Jim : We're going to Chuck E. Cheese.
Dwight : Chuck E. Cheese ?
Micheal : Oh, God. I'm so sick of Chuck E. Cheese. (Chuck E. Cheese
Jim : We're going to the hospital, Michael.
Micheal : I know. I'm just sayin'...
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Dwight, what are you drinking?
Dwight : I found it under the seat.
Jim : Oh, my God. Dwight.
Dwight : I'm thirsty.
Jim : Put that down. Give the bottle to Michael.
Dwight : I'm thirsty.
Micheal : Just give it to me... Just keep your eyes on the road. (Jim, 계속 운전해) Give me the bottle or you're fired.
Dwight : You can't fire me, I don't work in this van!
Micheal : Give it to me, Dwight!
Dwight : No, stop.
Micheal : Give me the bottle!
Jim : Will you stop?
Micheal : Give me the bottle, Dwight!
Jim : Michael, stop!
Micheal : Just give it!
Jim : Michael, stop!
Micheal : Just stop it!
Micheal : Stop spraying! Gimmme the bottle.
Jim : Stop!
Micheal : Stop spraying me! Gimme the bottle!
---------------------------------------
M : Dwight, what is your middle name?
Dwight : Danger.
Micheal : Something with a "K." (K
Jim : It's Kurt. Wow, I'm so sad that I know that.
Micheal : What do I write under reason for visit?
Jim : Concussion. What did you write?
Micheal : Nothing. I wrote "bringing someone to the hospital."
Jim : So you thought they meant your reason for coming to the hospital.
Micheal : You know what, Jim? This isn't about me anymore. I made a miraculous recovery, which is more than I can say for him.
Jim : Come on, Dwight.
Dwight : Hi, Michael.
Micheal : Hi, Dwight.
---------------------------------------
Micheal : Doctor, what is more serious, a head injury or a foot injury?
Doctor : A head injury.
Micheal : Well, you don't have all the information. The foot had been severly burned, and, uh, healed quickly. (회복속도가 아주 빨라요) Very quickly. Actually, like suspiciously quickly.
Doctor : So I'm ordering a CAT scan.
Dwight : What is that?
Micheal : Look, since you have the machine up and running, can I just stick my foot in? We can take a look....
Doctor : Well...for a burn, you really just need to look at the outside of the foot.
Micheal : Okay, what kind of machine is that?
Doctor : Does the skin look red and swollen?
Dwight : That's what she said.
Micheal : That's my joke. Damn it, Dwight.
---------------------------------------
Nurse : Okay, no electronics past this point. (여기는 전자기계가 지나갈 수 없거든요) Camera, sound equipment.
Micheal : It's okay, they're with me.
Nurse : No metal of any kind.
Micheal : All right, well, I guess this is where we leave you off. (좋아, 그럼 여기서 우리가 잠깐 떨어져있어야겠네) / D : I don't wanna do this.
Micheal : Well, you should have thought of that before you crashed your head on your way to pick me up, so... (아 그건 자네가 날 데리러 오려다 머리 박기전에 생각했어야지) we'll see you when you get out. (좀 이따가 보자) Fine, fine.
---------------------------------------
Pam : Dunder Mifflin, this is Pam.
Jim : Dunder Mifflin, this is Jim.
Pam : Oh, my God, what's going on? Is Dwight okay?
Jim : He should be fine. (괜찮아질거야) But they brought him in for a CAT scan.
Pam : I can't believe he's getting a CAT scan.
Jim : Michael went in there with him too. It's pretty sweet.
Pam : Really? Michael went in with him?
Jim : But they shouldn't be much longer now. (이제 곧 나올 것 같네) So we'll be back soon.
Pam : Okay, that's... ...good news. Uh, yeah, no. I'll let you go.
Jim : Okay.
Pam : Okay.
Jim : Bye.
Pam : Bye.
---------------------------------------
Pam : Hey, Oscar?
Oscar : What's up Pam?
Pam : I just wanted to let you know that Dwight's gonna be okay. The doctor said there's a really simple treatment for a concussion, (뇌진탕이라서 우선 간단한 처방을 했대) so he'll probably even be back at work tomorrow.
Oscar : Okay.
Pam : I just, uh, thought you'd wanna know that.
---------------------------------------
Nurse : Okay, Mr. Schrute, inhale with me on three. (제가 셋을 세면 숨을 들이키세요) One, two... Sir, Sir, stop that. Stop... Stop that.
