Jan : Are you listening to me?

Micheal : Affirmative.

Jan : What did I just say?

Micheal  : You just said.. Let me.. check my notes. 메모한 좀 보고요) You just said..

Jan : Alan and I have created an incentive program..

Micheal  : How is Alan? (Alan 어떻게 지내요?) Tell Alan that the Mets suck. From me, big time. Go Pirates!

Jan : I'm not going to do that. We've created an incentive program to increase sales. You can reward your top seller with a prize worth up to $1,000.

Micheal  : Woo. Howdy-ho. Wow. A thousand big ones. That's cool. Do I uh... get to pick the prize?

Jan : Yes. Yes, you can.

Micheal  : Question. Does top salesman include people who were at one time such outstanding salesmen that they've been promoted to..

Jan : No, Michael. You can't win this prize.

Micheal  : I didn't mean me.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

M : What we have to do is find out what motivates people more than anything else.

Dwight : Sex.

Micheal : It's illegal, can't do that. Next best thing.

Dwight : Torture.

Micheal : Come on, Dwight. Help me out here. This is stupid.

Pam : Michael.

Micheal : Pam!

Pam : There's...

Micheal : Burger with cheese.

Pam : There's a person here.

Micheal : And fries. And shake. What? Go ahead.

Pam : There's a person here who wants to sell handbags.

Micheal : No vendors in the office. That is a distraction.

Pam : I told her you'd talk to her.

Micheal : Pam, come on, I'm busy. So just tell her to go away.

Pam : OK.

Micheal : All right, I'll talk to her.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Keity : This one is hand-embroidered.

Micheal : Girls, you're being infiltrated. 너무 가까워) Cock in the hen house.

Dwight : Cocks in the hen house.

Micheal : Don't say cocks.

Dwight : No.

Micheal : What is your name, my fair lass?

Keity : Keity.

Micheal : Ah. Keity. Wow, look at you. (와우 세상에) You are like the new and improved Pam. Oh, look! (표정좀 봐) No cat fights, you two. (둘이 머리채 잡고 싸우면 안돼) I'm against violence in the workplace.

Dwight : So am I.

Micheal : Nobody cares what you think.

Dwight : Doesn't matter.

Micheal : I usually don't allow solicitors in the office, (전 보통 의뢰인을 사무실에 들이진 않지만) but today I am going to break some rules. You can have the conference room. It's yours all day.

Keity : Thanks.

P : There's an HR meeting in there at 11.30.

Micheal : Well, let's put 'em in the hallway, give them some chairs. Right? Decisiveness. One of the keys to success, according to Small Businessman.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : I do. I read Small Businessman. I also subscribe to USA Today, and American Way magazine, that's the in-flight magazine. Some great articles in that. (가끔 좋은 기사가 실립니다) They did this great profile last month of Doris Roberts (지난 달에는 Doris roberts에 대한 굉장한 분석이 실렸어요) and where she likes to eat when she's in Phoenix.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : This is my conference room, so please make yourself at home. I'm right on the other side of this wall. There used to be a window here. There's not anymore. (전에는 여기 창문이 있었는데, 이제는 없답니다) So that's where I'll be. (그럼 저는 거기 있겠습니다) So, if you need anything else, something to make you more comfortable, just don't hesitate to ask, (조금이라도 도움이 될만한게 있으면 주저하지 말고 말씀하세요) I'm right here.

Keity : I guess a cup of coffee would be great.

Micheal : Wait a second. Oh, I should have spotted another addict. Gotta love the 'bucks.

Keity : What?

Micheal : It's slang for Starbucks. (Starbucks의 속어 같은거죠) They're all over the place. (온 사방에 널렸잖아요) Oh, man. That place is like the promised land to me. What a business model, too. (또 얼마나 굉장한 비즈니스모델인가요) Too bad we don't have the good stuff here.

Keity : A regular coffee is fine.

Micheal : No, it's not, it's...

Keity : No, really, it is.

Micheal : No, here's the thing. You know.. I do my best to.. to be my own man and.. (저는 최선을 다해 제 자신에게 솔직한 사람이 되고자 합니다) go by the beat of a different drummer. (남들과는 다른 방식으로) And nobody gets me. (그런데 아무도 저를 이해하지 못해요) They're always putting up walls and I tear 'em down. (사람들은 언제나 벽을 세우고 그럼 전 언제나 그 벽을 무너뜨리죠) Just breaking down barriers, that's what I do all day. (담을 허무는 거죠 이거 제가 늘 하는 일입니다) So, a coffee. Regular coffee. For you. High test or unleaded?

Keity : Bring it on. Yeah.

Micheal : Oh! Woo! I will. I'll bring it on. All right.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Kevin: So... are you jealous because there's another girl around?

Pam : No.

Kevin : She's prettier than you, though.

Pam : That's a very rude thing to say, Kevin.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Keity : ...suit you. I can see you pairing it with gloves.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Dwight : The purse girl hits everything on my check list. (핸드백 아가씨는 제 이상형의 모든 조건에 맞습니다) Creamy skin, (부드러운 피부) straight teeth, curly hair, (곱슬머리) amazing breasts. Not for me, for my children. The Schrutes produce very thirsty babies.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : There you go, nice, steaming hot cup of joe.

Keity : Thank you.

Micheal : An idea. (저한테 생각이 있어요) Why don't I introduce you around? You can get your foot in the door, meet potential clientele. Right?

Keity : Gosh. I would love to, but my purses. I should..

Micheal : Oh, uh, well, we can have Ryan. Ryan, would you look after the purses, please?

Ryan : I'm installing file share on the computers.

Micheal : Blah-dee-blah. Techno babble. Just do it. We have company. Right? You should sell a lot here because this branch made over $1 million last year. Not that we're all millionaires. I'm probably closest. (우리가 백만장자라는건 아니고 아마 제가 제일 근접하겠지만) Here's Oscar. Oscar, this is Katy.

Oscar : I'm on the phone.

Micheal : Woo-woo. Oscar the grouch. (투덜이 Oscar) Right? I thought of that.

Keity : That was on Sesame Street. (Sesame Street

Micheal : I know. I made the connection. Can you believe he'd never heard that before he worked here?

Keity : No, I don't believe that.

Micheal : It's unbelievable.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Pam : It's nice having Katy around. It's another person for Michael to um... interact with.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : Here is Toby from Human Resources. Keity, Toby. Toby, Keity.

Tobby : Hi. Did you go to Bishop? (Bishop

Keity : Yeah.

Tobby : Yeah. Me too. Cool. What year were you there?

Micheal : Toby's divorced. He uh... God. Recently, right? You and your wife. And you have kids.

Tobby : A girl.

Micheal : That's so... It was really messy. (정말 난장판이었죠) You slept one night in your car, too.

Keity : I should probably get back to my table.

Micheal : OK, all right. Cool. See you in a bit. (잠시 후에 봐요) Oh. She's cute. Cutie pie. Back to work.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : I live by one rule. No office romances, no way. Very messy, inappropriate. No. But I live by another rule. Just do it. Nike.

Roy : Hey, Jimmy, what do you think about the purse girl?

Jim : Cute, sure, yeah.

Roy : Why don't you get on that?

Jim : She's not really my type.

Roy : What? Are you gay?

Jim : I don't think so.

Roy : Well, what is your type?

Jim : Moms, primarily. Soccer moms, single moms, NASCAR moms, any type of mom, really.

Roy : That's disgusting.

Kevin : Stay away from my mom.

Jim : Too late, Kev.

Roy : Man, I would be all over that if I wasn't dating Pam.

Pam : We're not dating, we're engaged.

Roy : Engaged, yeah.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Jim : Pam and I are good buddies. I'm sort of Pam's go-to guy for her problems. (Pam하고 저는 좋은 친구에요 제가 Pam한테는 일종의 해결사 역할이죠) You know, with stuff like work or her fianc? Roy. (그러니까 일하면서 생기는 문제나 약혼자 Roy) Or um.. No, those are pretty much her only two problems.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Jim : She'd be perfect for you.

Dwight : She's been talking to Michael a lot.

Jim : So what? You're assistant regional manager.

Dwight : Assistant to the regional manager.

Jim : He's your work boss. He is not your relationship boss.

Dwight : That's true.

Jim : You have so much more to talk to this girl about. (게다가 네가 저 여자한테 할 말이 더 많잖아) You're both um.. salesmen. (너희 둘다 영업직이니까) That's something right there.

Dwight : True. Plus I could talk to her about the origins of my last name.

Jim : It's all gold.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Keity : Guys are usually my best customers. They buy the high-end stuff, (남자들이 제일 비싼 제품을 사가요) the beads and the sequins. For gifts, you know. They don't know what they're looking at, so I make suggestions.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Jim : Just keep talking to her. If you hit a stall, you have a fall-back.

Dwight : What's that?

Jim : You buy a purse.

Dwight : I don't want a purse. Purses are for girls.

Jim : That's not true. Do you read GQ?

Dwight : No.

Jim : I do. They're like mini briefcases. (작은 서류가방 같은게 있는데) Lots of guys have them.

Dwight : Like those?

Jim : Yes. You are spending time talking to me, when you could be talking to her.

Dwight : I'm just gonna use the bathroom.

Jim : You don't need the bathroom. Go.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Jim : Stop whatever you're doing. This is going to be good. (.

Dwight : Hi, my name's Dwight Schrute and I would like to buy a purse from you.

Keity : Good Lord! Look at these purses.

Dwight : This is something special. Oh, my God. Is this Salvatore de Chini...

Pam : Definitely step in and out of it like that.

Jim : Yes. Well, I want to stress-test it, you know, in case anything happens. That was really.. This is necessary to do to really give it a good work-out. (내구성 검사를 위해 꼭 필요한 거랍니다) This is the.. This is the prettiest one of all. I'm going to be the prettiest girl in the ball.

Dwight : How much?

Pam : Oh, God. It's sad. It's so sad.

Jim : Here he comes. Shh. He did pick a good one.

Pam : You're horrible.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Keity : This one's really good for a hot date.

Pam : Yeah? What's that? I'm engaged.

Keity : Congratulations. You need a hot date more than anyone.

Pam : I wish, right?

Micheal : Giggle, giggle Chuchee, chuchee... (꺄르르 키득키득) I get it. Divine Secrets Of The Ya-Ya Sisterhood over here. Right? So how was that coffee from earlier?

Keity : It was good.

Micheal : I knew it. Guzzled it down, you greedy little thing. 욕심꾸러기 같으니) So, Pam, is this your lunch break or was that earlier when you were eating in the kitchen with those guys?

Pam : Sorry.

Micheal : Busted.

Keity : Come back.

Micheal : I want to show you something. Come here. I know you are gonna like this. (좋아하실 겁니다) I picked it up today, a thousand big ones.

Keity : Is that from Starbucks?

Micheal : Yes. This is a Starbucks digital barista. This is the Mack Daddy of espresso makers.

Keity : Wow. Is that for the office?

Micheal : I know what you're thinking. You're not prying this out of my hands. 저한테서 뺏을 수는 없죠) Don't tempt me because I'll give it to you.

Keity : I wouldn't think of it.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : Coffee is the great incentivizer in the office. It's a drug. It is quite literally a drug that speeds people up. 직원들의 능률을 높이니까요) It's not the only drug that speeds people up. (이게 능률을 높이는 유일한 마약은 아닙니다) You hear stories about Dunder-Mifflin in the '80s, before everybody knew how bad cocaine was. God.. Man, did they move paper.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : The rotating... steam wand. What's the matter?

Keity : Oh, nothing. My ride just bailed on me.

Micheal : Oh. Oh! God. I'm sorry. Where are you going? Nearby? Because I could give you a ride. / Keity : No. / M : Sure?

Keity : I don't want to inconvenience you.

Micheal : No inconvenience. I'm out of here at five sharp.

Keity : At five?

Micheal : I can go earlier because I'm the boss. (더 일찍 나갈수도 있어요) I'm outta here, slaves.

Keity : OK.

Micheal : What?

Keity : OK.

Micheal : OK.

Keity : I guess that would be OK.

Micheal : Sounds good. Five o'clock sharp, I will give you and your purses a ride home.

Keity : OK. Cool.

Micheal : Excellent. Great. Cool. Cool.

Keity : Yeah, OK.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : I should never have let the temp touch this. (임시직이 건드리게 하는게 아니었어) I had all these great icons and now I have four folders.

Dwight : It's actually better this way.

Micheal : No. I could just click on the icon and then I'm onto something.

Dwight : Could I ask you something? I wanted to ask your permission to ask out Keity. (Keity한테 데이트 신청을 해도 된다는 허락을 받고 싶습니다) I know it's against the rules.

Micheal : It's not against the rules. She is not a permanent employee, so it's not.

Dwight : Thank you. I appreciate this so much.

Micheal : But you should know that I am going to be giving her a ride home later. / D : What?

Micheal : She asked me for a ride, so I'm going to give her a ride home.

Dwight : Is that all it is? Just a ride home like a taxicab?

Micheal : Well, it might be a ride home. ( , 집까지 태워다 줄수도 있고) It might be a ride home and we stop for coffee and... dot, dot, dot.

Dwight : Please. Please. I am your inferior and I'm asking you this favor. (부하직원으로서 이렇게 부탁드립니다) Can you promise me that it will just be a ride home?

Micheal : No. I cannot promise you.

Dwight : You cannot promise me or you won't promise me?

Micheal : Listen, Dwight. Do you love her? No. I don't know. It's too early to tell. I... (말하기엔 너무 일러) I don't know how I feel.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Keity : You've made a good choice. She's going to like that.

Keity : Thank you.

Micheal : You're welcome.

Stanley : Is that from the machine in your office? Mm-hm. Isn't that the prize for the top salesperson?

Micheal : Very easy to clean. OK. Like he's gonna win anyway. Right?

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : So did we get any mail?

Pam : Yeah, I gave it to you.

Micheal : Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Just checking. Double-checking. Checking on the check. 확인한거 확인하기) Thoroughness is very important in an office. And...

Pam : So can I...

Micheal : Yeah, of course. One more thing. How do girls your age feel about futons?

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Jim : A futon? He's a grown man.

Pam : That's what he said.

Jim : That's sad. Or it's innovative. 아니면 기발한 건지도) You know the futon is a bed and couch all rolled into one.

Roy : What's up?

Pam : Hi.

Roy : Are you still mad at me?

Pam : Roy..

Roy : Come on.

Pam : Cut it out.

Roy : Are you mad at me?

Pam : Stop it.

Roy : Are you mad at me now?

Pam : Cut it out. Stop!

Roy : Come on, Pammy.

Pam : Stop. I can't breathe.

Roy : I was just kidding. You know I didn't mean it.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Pam : Jim's a great guy. He's like a brother to me. (제 오빠 같아요) We're like best friends in the office and... I really hope he finds someone.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Keity : You seem to like to touch things. Try the velvet.

Angela : I don't like to necessarily touch things, I'm just... shopping.

Keity : No, it's fine that you... What about the raspberry one? It's really kind of festive. It's got a lot of personality.

Dwight : How's it going? Good. Can I talk to you for a second in private?

Keity : I don't think so. I'm busy.

Dwight : It will take a second. (1

Keity : I can't.

Dwight : Just for a minute. I wanted to talk to you in private because I wanted to ask you out on a date.

Keity : No.

Dwight : Was that no to talking to me in private or was that no to the date?

Keity : Both. What colors do you like?

Angela : Gray, dark gray, charcoal.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : Ryan. Would you like to help me with a special project?

Ryan : I would love to.

Micheal : Right.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : Just throw out all the empties.

Ryan : You don't want to recycle them?

Micheal : Um... Yes. Throw them away in the recycling bin.

Ryan : Do you want this?

Micheal : No.

Ryan : What about this power drink?

Micheal : What flavor?

Ryan : Blue.

Micheal : Blue's not a flavor.

Ryan : It says "Flavor, blue blast." (파란 돌풍맛이라고 써있어요) Oh, blue blast. Yes, put that in the trunk. There should be an unopened Arctic Chill. (그리고 거기 따지 않은 북극의 추위가 한 병 있을 거야) I want that in the passenger's cup holder. Thank you.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Jim : Hi.

Keity : Hi.

Jim : I'm Jim, by the way.

Keity : Keity.

Jim : Nice to meet you.

Keity : You sit out there.

Jim : I do. That's what I'm best known for. Sitting out there. 저자리에 앉기로) All right. Let's talk about purses.

Keity : OK, um...

Jim : You know what? Don't try to sell me one. Because I'm just here to learn.

Keity : OK.

Jim : So I know about most of these, but...

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Micheal : What's up? That's my Drakkar Noir.

Ryan : No, this is Night Sweat.

Micheal : It's a perfect smell-alike. I'm not paying for the label. Give it.

Ryan : It's empty.

Micheal : It's not. There's some in the straw. There. Now you may throw it out.

Ryan : Wow. How many Filet-O-Fishes did you eat? (Filet-O-Fishes

Micheal : That's over several months, Ryan.

Ryan : Still...

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Jim : What's up?

Pam : I'm bored.

Jim : Thank you for choosing me.

Pam : No, I'm kidding. So you got big plans this weekend?

Jim : Well, I think I'm gonna see Keity. (Keity

Pam : Really?

Jim : Yeah.

Pam : What are you guys gonna do?

Jim : Man, I don't know. Dinner. Drinks, movie, matching tattoos.

Pam : That's great. That's cool.

Jim : Big stuff. (대단하지) What are you doing?

Pam : I was gonna say, (말하려고 했는데) I think that we're gonna help Roy's cousin move. (Roy 사촌 이사하는거 도와줄거야) Cos Roy's got a truck.

Jim : That's cool. (잘 됐네) Uh-huh.

Pam : Yes.

Jim : That is cool.

Pam : I'll see you Monday, though, right?

Jim : Great.

Pam : OK. I'm gonna head back.

Jim : All right.

Micheal : I think to be a ladies' man, it's imperative people don't know you're a ladies' man. (문어발 연애를 하려면 당사자들이 모르게 행동하는게 필수적이죠) So I kinda play that close to the chest. (그래서 저는 신중을 기하는 편입니다) What can I say? Women are attracted to power. (여자들은 권력에 끌려요) And I think.. Other people have told me I have a very symmetrical face. (사람들이 제 얼굴 좌우대칭이 잘 맞는다고 하는거 같던데) I don't know. I don't know. Maybe they're right. (그 사람들 말이 맞을 수도 있고) I don't know.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

Jim : Do you want me to help with that?

? : It was nice to meet some of you.

Jim : See you later!

Micheal : Good night. Good night, Jim.

Jim : Night, Michael.

Micheal : Where are you going?

Jim : To grab a drink, I think.

Micheal : With us?

Keity : I should have told you I don't need a ride now, cos Jim can take me home after.

Micheal : You're off the hook. (이제 신경쓰지 않으셔도 돼요) Off the hook, excellent. Cool.

Jim : I got this.

Micheal : Have fun. (재미있게 놀아) Don't drink and drive. Take it easy.

Jim : Have a good night.

Micheal : You, too.

Jim : Got that?

Keity : Oh, yeah.

Jim : You sold a lot, so it's lighter.

Keity : Yeah.

Jim : Here. Now, I'm gonna warn you, don't freak out.

Keity : Why?

Jim : This is a really nice car. In case you haven't noticed, this is a Corolla.

Keity : It's a very nice car.

Jim : So you're not going to freak out.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

M : Do I have a special someone? Well, yeah, of course. A bunch of them. (수십명 되죠) My employees. If I had to choose between a one-night stand with some stupid cow I'd pick up at a bar, and these people, I'd pick them every time. Because with them, it is an every-day stand. And I still know their names in the morning.
